Quote Trace

Your article or newsletter quotes an interview. Before it goes out, Quote Trace finds each quote in the transcript and shows who said it and when.

• Paste timestamped speaker turns ([00:00] Speaker: words) and up to 100 draft quotes, one per line. Optionally write Speaker | quote.
• Each quote comes back as an exact match, a formatting-only difference, repeated in several places, attributed to the wrong speaker, or not found. You see the source time and surrounding context.
• Export a JSON review for your editor.
• Runs locally in your browser from one HTML file: no account, upload, server, AI API or subscription.
